Amelia Island, Florida is one of my favorite places to slip away for a quick getaway. It’s close enough to home that I can go often, but far enough to feel like I’m truly on vacation. The landscape is absolutely breathtaking!
My Mama loves old graveyards, and so whenever I stumble across one, I stop and snap photos just for her.
And what’s more southern than old Spanish moss-draped giants keeping quiet watch like old sentries? Always a favorite of mine…unless, of course, you run into chiggers.
